Rachel Heayberd BSc(Hons)

Rachel qualified as a Physiotherapist from the University of Manchester in 2005 with a 2:1.  She is a Chartered Physiotherapist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.  She worked as an adult and young people’s physiotherapist for six years before specialising in paediatrics.  As a paediatric specialist, for the last 12 years Rachel has worked as a Community Physiotherapist for the NHS.  In addition to her extensive experience in treating children with a variety of conditions, Rachel has Bobath training in Early Assessment and Intervention with Babies and Young Children and training and experience in aquatic therapy, lycra and elastic therapeutic taping.

Rachel continues to work in the NHS in Community Paediatrics, treating a wide variety of conditions in children and young people of all ages.
